Completely agree about horses - the worst part of riding my Rockhopper was hitting churned up bridleways after they'd baked in the sun for a day or two and turned into kidney-mullering concrete hellsteps.

also ive found it easier without pro pedal on, so try with suspension soft. ive mannuald a gud 20/30 ms at sumpoints. but its one ov those things u have to practice alot.

With Guisborough situated on the edge of the North York Moors the area offers miles and miles of scenic moorland routes, excellent forest trails and terrain to suit all types of mountain biking.

All members remember to feel free to post blogs, forum discussions, pics, vids etc. This site is for everyone to enjoy and use. We all look forward to reading about peoples ride's or checking out some good photo's of new discovered trails.

MTB Guisborough News and Updates

Anyone planning a ride, event or just want the members to know some info??? Post your plans in the forum if you want some company on rides or give us a shout and I'll post it here for the members to see.

The Tuesday Night Ride will now be a regular group ride every week, more and more members are turning out for this popular ride. The ride takes in some of the best natural trails in Guisborough Forest and surrounding areas. As the nights draw in the rides are spent desending some of the best rewarding single track with the lights blazing! please see the events page for details.

MTBG is meeting up with the Forestry Commision in December. The aim of the meeting is to try and get some new legal trails built in Guisborough Forest. If you have any ideas please note them in the forum page or message Rory.
