Event Description

A weekend trip to wales. The weekend will be based at Coed-y-brenin. The plan is to arrive on Friday 19th April early enough to take in one of the trail's. Saturday is (weather permitting) a true Mtb ride up and down Mt Snowdon, for those who want to tackle it. Snowdon route not yet decided on (need's more research) ( or someone to come who know's the way please).

Or it will be a day out on one of the longer trail's at CyB.

Sunday one of the shorter trail's before heading home.

Time's are approx, and more detail can be sorted as the weekend approaches.

Anyone attending will need to sort own accomodation, however if we start getting good number's, we may be able to arrange some group booking's. It may work out cheeper.

Gary had looked at the twin routes can keep an open mind see what happens on the day [weather] if we do go to the bottom of Rhyd Ddu path and change our minds according to the chap in Go out doors there is a shuttle bus which runs around the base  from car park to car park

Phil, google Snowdon twin peaks and see what you think of that route. Looks good to me. Hits the summit twice.

Lol Daz, I did'nt think you had been, just thought you might of heard or read of some. Thats not Wales you speak of, though they do speak funny up there too. But its more down and across than up and in ha ha. Mick aint coming now though Daz.
Phil, I will message Mick for advice on that. Any idea on difference in distanc from digs on the two routes? I believe a fair bit of hike a bike either way, so guessing easier route is best option.

Hi all have just got os map to sort out route .Do you fancy the Llanberis path up the north side of the hill [this is the more popular] or Rhyd Ddu path which is harder but on the south side closer to our digs .
