Welcome to MTB Guisborough Andrew. This site is built by its members so please feel free to join in by adding discussions, sharing pictures and organising/participating in group rides. There's a great bunch of people on here so please enjoy the site. I, like many others, have met and made great friends and riding buddies through these pages.

If you haven’t already checked us out at http://mtbguisborough.weebly.com/index.html find how you can help develop and maintain the trails in Guisborough and get some great discounts on your bikes and parts from local bike shops supporting our club, as well as the café in Pinchinthorpe Visitors Centre.

Regards, The MTBG Team

END of WEEK RIDE

The End of Week Ride is aimed at all levels, from stalwart riders that have formed MTBG to new riders wishing to find their way around the local forest and moors, also those who may feel a little intimidated at joining a ride where they are unsure of their capabilities. The rides will be tailored to the riders of the day, if necessary splitting into groups to ensure everyone has a satisfying ride.

It isn't an official ride, just a few enthusiasts that get together to do what they love, ride a mountain bike and have some fun. A good level of fitness is a must.

Participation in route planning is encouraged, as we all wish to share in others riders’ knowledge

The routes are XC, official fire roads & bridle ways, with lots of climbs and a little easy single track, decided at the start of the ride.

The ride day will vary between Sat. & Sun. from week to week due to work commitments, and the start time too.

As the year progresses, the rides will move further a field, including the North Yorks Moors, Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and some of the Trail Parks and other Forests.
