Mountain Rescue Training

HiJust for your information Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team will be training on Wednesday 8th and 15th of February on the mountain bike tracks near NZ 588 129 (on SOW) from 1930hrs till 21:30 hrs. Whilst we will try to avoid unnecessarily blocking tracks we will be practicing rescuing 'a crashed biker on steep ground' with suspected 'spinal or pelvic injury ' . "You can also register your phone to the emergancy services to utilise data burst transmissions should you experience poor reception. Text "REGISTER" to 999 and wait for their acknowledgement reply text."

Hi allWe picked up another mountain biker yesterday in the woods. Christmas Santa Ride at Guisborough Forest

December 18, 2011 from 12pm to 3pm
Back for 2011 MTBG will once again will be hitting the trails with some festive fun.No matter how fit you are or what skill level you ride at all MTBG members are welcome for a few hours of festive mtb socialising.  The last MTBG Christmas ride had over 25 riders dressed in in Santa suits, as Elves or simply decorated their bike in tinsel, we hope to carry on this theme this year.  When the group rode through Guisborough they literally stopped traffic as parents and kids were stunned at all the…See More
